Impress neighbors and frighten friends by strutting around in a coat worn by Bruce Willis. The black-and-white herringbone jacket (pictured) was not used in a movie, as the seller points out (though they do furnish a lengthy list of his credits), but was ''worn by Bruce Willis during his career.'' During...his...career. Which means he might actually have been wearing this coat while shooting Color of Night! Bruce's measurements: chest, 42; sleeve, 17. (Sale ends Jan. 25) Impress friends and frighten neighbors by brandishing a 40-watt plasma rifle like the kind featured in Terminator 2 (they were used by the Endoskeletons seen at the beginning of the movie). According to the seller, it's not an actual prop from the movie, but a one-of-a-kind prototype created by Icons, a now-defunct company that made licensed replicas of props used in the Star Wars, Alien, and Terminator series....

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. Actor Bruce Willis says Tony Bennett is "the coolest person I know." Willis and a host of other Hollywood stars turned out last night to honor the singer, who turned 80 in August. The event was also a fund-raiser for Paul Newman's "Hole in the Wall" camps for seriously ill children. Bennett called the night "unforgettable." And he treated the audience to his trademark song, "I Left My Heart in San Francisco." He says the public's been great to him for more than a-half century and says he wants "to give them all that love back." Copyright 2006 Associated Press. All rights reserved. Driving in downtown Baltimore could mean more headaches today as shooting continues for the new Bruce Willis movie, "Live Free or Die Hard." The filming yesterday required the closure of several blocks around Calvert and Fayette streets, causing traffic gridlock. The movie crew will be back there today, and the news only gets worse for drivers -- part of nearby Charles Street will be closed today at Monument Street to prepare for this weekend's Baltimore Book Festival. The city is using additional police and 17 traffic enforcement officers to direct traffic through the downtown area. ....

All action: Bruce Willis plays an ageing cop escorting a witness ...

In this week's DVD releases Bruce Willis is back in action and a Palestinian film about a pair of would-be suicide bombers offers chilling insights about life in the West Bank... 16 Blocks Warner Home Video, 12A 18.99Review: Larushka Ivan-Zadeh***In 16 Blocks, Bruce Willis supposedly plays against type as Jack Mosley, an ageing, gone-to-seed alcoholic cop assigned the ordinary task of escorting a motormouth witness (Mos Def) to the courthouse, 16 blocks away. But Bruce only ever plays Bruce. So, when "dirty cops" threaten to stop him testifying, our man in a vest digs out his lop-sided grin and "I'm looking at you through napalm" squint and gets on with providing us with another solid, if unremarkable and forgettable action flick. Lacking almost any sense of urgency - despite the ticking courtroom clock and implausible twists at every turn - the mismatched buddy act with sympathetic comedy sidekick Mos Def never really clicks either; all the more noticeable given it's assuredly brought to the screen by Lethal Weapon director Richard Donner....

Film choice

Michael Bay?s overcooked action blockbuster is a junk-food feast of unwittingly hilarious dialogue and vaguely homoerotic machismo. Bruce Willis stars as the square-jawed leader of an oil drilling team blasted into space to blow up a giant meteor and save mankind. Ben Affleck, Liv Tyler, Billy Bob Thornton and Steve Buscemi share the blame and the shame. It?s groaningly awful, but was of course a huge hit. (144 min) ....

Bruce Willis to sue former friend
Posted Friday, August 11, 2006 9:15:03 AM by Blog57 Team
The Die Hard star has filed a lawsuit against Bruce DiMattia over allegations DiMattia is threatening to publish a tell-all book about the actor unless he receives $US100,000 and a car from Willis. According to Willis' lawyer, Marty Singer, DiMattia worked for the actor for four years, but then stole a number of photos and family videos he was compiling on Willis' behalf when he was fired. After he was dismissed, DiMattia allegedly informed Willis he had "surreptitiously prepared a book manuscript" which he was offering to publishers and would sell unless his demands were met. The lawsuit claims the book contains "falsehoods and lies" that could embarrass Willis and insists DiMattia's alleged plans "constitute extortion and violate Willis' right of privacy"....

US actor Bruce Willis is suing a childhood friend hired to organise personal photographs for extortion and violation of privacy, court documents have shown. The civil lawsuit, filed by the star's lawyers on Tuesday in a Los Angeles court, claim that that Bruce DiMattia - described in the suit as a "childhood friend" and former employee - is threatening to publish Willis's private pictures and has been hawking a book manuscript "containing lies" about the actor. "Overcome by greed and jealous of his former friend's success, Mr DiMattia has threatened to unlawfully exploit private family photographs and memorabilia belonging to Mr Willis," the lawsuit alleges. Mr DiMattia wants Mr Willis "to pay him over $US100,000 ($A131,000) and buy him a car, among other things," in exchange for his silence, according to the court documents posted on tmz.com, a website specialising in celebrity affairs....

Bruce Willis wants to star in a movie version of Moonlighting and is appealing to Hollywood bosses to make it happen. The star is sick of action films and is keen to return to the show that made him famous in 1985. Willis - who played private detective David Addison in the Emmy Award-winning series - says, "No one's writing those kind of comedy roles any more. It's so hard to invent a character like David Addison. When I read the 'Moonlighting script,' I said, 'I know this guy. I know how this guy thinks.' "I'm shown many more scripts for action films, thrillers and scary movies than comedies. There just aren't people up for the challenge of writing characters and material that's funny." Moore's Half Light hopes dashed

Demi Moore's hopes for a return to Hollywood stardom have been dashed after new movie Half Light failed to secure a cinema release in the US. The ex-wife of Bruce Willis had been told appearing in the British supernatural film would do for her what The Others did for Nicole Kidman. But the GHOST actress is heartbroken at the snub in her homeland, and the movie made a paltry GBP51,300 during its three weeks in British cinemas. A film industry insider tells The Independent newspaper, "It's a total stinker, probably the box office turkey of the year so far." In 2004, director Simon Franks said, "Demi's hoping this will have the same effect on her career as (The Others) did on Nicole Kidman's." Email Story Send Story via IM Blog via Y! 360 Print ....
