| Harrison 'fit enough' for Indy 4 | | Posted Wednesday, October 25, 2006 7:09:52 PM by Blog57 Team | | Harrison Ford may be 64 but he reckons he's still got what it takes to play legendary action hero Indiana Jones in a fourth movie. Ford, who last donned the archaeologists fedora and whip in 1989's 'Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, was peppered with questions about the movie series at the RomeFilmFest in Italy. Despite the 17-year layoff the 'Star Wars' actor insisted he's "fit to continue" in the role. "We need to move on for artistic reasons and obvious physical reasons [but] I feel fit to continue and bring the same physical action," he said. Ford is also keen to see Sean Connery, who played his father, Dr Henry Jones, in the 1989 film, return. "He's part of the emotional fabric of these films," Ford said of the 76-year-old former James Bond. "I believe that Sean is still willing and I'd be delighted if he joined us." Connery, who was at the same festival in Rome, claimed he had not yet been approached by the men behind the Indiana Jones series, writer-creator George Lucas and director Steven Spielberg.... | |

| | | Ford helps ease Flockhart's fear of flying | | Posted Tuesday, October 03, 2006 7:01:35 PM by Blog57 Team | | Washington, Oct. 2 (ANI): Celebrity pilot Harrison Ford's girlfriend, Calista Flockhart, has revealed that he helped her overcome her flying fears by taking her up for a mile-high lesson. She says the little plane knowledge she had helped her come to terms with flying, and that she now finds hitting the skies very comfortable, especially, if beau Harrison is in the driver's seat. "It has to do with the power of knowledge. When you know the pilot and they can teach you want that noise was and you're not just sitting in the back of an airplane with these ominous pilots behind a closed door, it helps," Contactmusic quoted her as saying. Buzz Index (Football) – Adds Wali Lundy (Hou – RB) 27,280 adds Ron Dayne (Hou – RB) 26,782 adds Vernand Morency (Hou – RB) 14,688 adds It's fairly rare that three members of the same backfield are among the most added players in fantasy football. Dayne signed with the Texans on Sunday, joining an offense which his agent called "Denver South," with former Broncos offensive coordinator Gary Kubiak now the head coach in Houston. Dayne is expected to "step right into [the] offense" because he is familiar with Kubiak and his system, and since "he's got more size than [Lundy and Morency]," he could end up with carries in goal-line situations.... | |

| | | Movie names can be in a league of their own | | Posted Tuesday, July 25, 2006 9:01:47 PM by Blog57 Team | | NEW YORK - Not every movie title is as effective as this summer's buzz-magnet, "Snakes on a Plane." Some are so bland, they tell you nothing about what's in store. Others are so obtuse, they leave you standing outside the multiplex scratching your head. Here's a look at the good, the bad and the ugly of movie names: THEY ARE WHAT THEY ARE The upcoming Samuel L. Jackson action flick "Snakes on a Plane" just lays it out there. Similarly, Oliver Stone's "World Trade Center" is about two Port Authority police officers who were trapped beneath the rubble of the Twin Towers. Such simplicity lends to the solemnity of the subject matter, as it did earlier this year with the devastating "United 93."
